Recognizing and Rejecting Racism

Session description

This 1-hour webinar will explore recognizing and rejecting racism in preparation for the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. We will share concepts and terminology around race, racism, and systemic racism. We will learn that racism is about power and explore how racism operates in all levels of society, from personal to systemic. Together we will look at strategies to create equitable organizations and communities.

This session is hosted by the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association and presented by the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan.
