Marketing & Communications Lead

Justine is our vibrant Marketing and Communications Lead who made her debut at HQC in September 2023. From journalist to communications dynamo, she brings over a decade of expertise in strategic communications, new media, and marketing to our team.

Armed with a Bachelor of Journalism from Thompson Rivers University and a certification in Prosci® Change Management, Justine is our go-to for crafting internal communication strategies, navigating change initiatives, and deploying marketing tactics that resonate with diverse audiences.

Writing is Justine’s forte—she excels at crafting compelling messaging regardless of the industry, a skill she’s honed over her time at CKOM News Talk Radio, SaskAbilities, Affinity Credit Union, and Nutrien. Now, she’s channeling her enthusiasm, attention to detail, and inventive approach into advancing health care with HQC.

When she’s not geeking out on grammar, Justine dabbles in freelancing as a voice actor, playing recreational volleyball, and – her favourite – standup paddleboarding on the South Saskatchewan River.
