As our population evolves, so must our approach to meeting their needs. If you’re looking for ways to improve the well-being of older adults while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your teams, you’ve come to the right place.

The Community Quality Improvement (QI) Collective offers a six-month applied learning program that equips you with the tools and resources needed to enhance your programs and services, while improving the experiences of the communities you serve.

Collaborate and Network

One of the many perks of enrolling in the Community QI Collective is the opportunity to connect and collaborate with other community-based organizations working with older adults across Saskatchewan. With an “All teach, All learn” approach, the program creates space to share challenges, discuss lessons learned, and spur fresh ideas for improving care and support for older adults.

Enhance Service Delivery

By taking a new approach to old problems, the Community QI Collective guides you through how to achieve more effective and efficient service delivery. Through a mix of quality improvement theory and real-world application, you’ll better understand the challenges facing your organization, identify areas of improvement, and systematically test and implement changes to enhance the quality of care and supports provided to older adults.

The best part? The principles you’ll learn can be easily adopted and applied to any area of your organization where there is opportunity for improvement.

“Our QI journey has encouraged us to look at our current processes and think more about areas we can improve. Also, quality improvement has helped us accept that our current processes might not be setting us up for success and that exploring other options is okay.” – Autism Services of Saskatoon

Engage Stakeholders

Effective and sustainable change requires a team effort. Throughout the Community QI Collective, you’ll explore the people side of change, as well as the tools and approaches best used to support and engage everyone impacted by quality improvement. Having all stakeholders on board leads to improved outcomes, greater client satisfaction, and a healthier Saskatchewan.

Measure for Success

How do you know your changes are leading to improvement? Measurement, of course! Through data and analysis, the Community QI Collective teaches you how to better understand where improvements can be made within your organization and how to gauge if your modifications are leading to enhanced outcomes.

What are you waiting for? Join the next Community QI Collective cohort and reap the benefits of improved service delivery, increased employee engagement, and restored collaboration throughout the province. After all, organizations such as yours are essential pillars of support for older adults – members of our community whose quality of life depends on you.
